I’m in my early 60s, retired some 5 years for working in the ICT area for BT; just delighted to have worked in an area where so much has changed so fast.
I’ve a real interest in social networking and “Web 2.0”, and for 9 years was on 24/7 call as part of a Coastguard Rescue team.
I was fortunate enough to be a homeworker, and while I did travel for work, my home and main office were in the Scottish Northern Highlands.
I look back 5 years and am amazed; I can look back 30+ years and the landscape has changed forever.
A college course I did in the 70s introduced me to Future Shock – I never believed it would be possible.
