		<description>I think this is a really fascinating topic ... measuring &#039;contribution&#039;. Interestingly, this year as part of our performance management there is a percentage set aside for your line manager to measure the way in which you achieved your objectives rather than just an objective measure of achievement.

The &#039;how&#039; is really what we are talking about here in terms of contribution ... perhaps this is the first chink in the armour of objective objectives measuring - how long before the &#039;how&#039; is worth more than the &#039;what&#039;?
